Our story began at a dog park in Austin during the summer of 2020. On one of those hot Texas nights, Kyle noticed Kristine’s dog, Nola (forever in our hearts). They struck up a socially distanced conversation and then went on their merry ways.

Over the next few weeks, they kept running into each other at the dog park, and soon their dogs became best friends. When Kyle first asked Kristine on a date, she unfortunately had to decline because she was getting her wisdom teeth out the next day.

After a few weeks of ice cream and applesauce, she reached out to Kyle (who really thought she used oral surgery as an excuse to get out of going out with him) and they scheduled their first date. The rest is history.
